Kuta beach was the first popular tourist beach on the west side of the island. The beach stretches from the airport runways on the south end to Legian on the north. It's a great beach to walk and Kuta's sunsets are a favorite among the visitors.

The beach is located on Bukit Peninsula, Bingin is a reef break with only one take off point. Like other beaches in the area, Bingin has a good wave quality with the reef bottom of coral and sharp rock will be a dangerous place for beginner surfer.

Padang Padang is located on the western side of the Bukit, after Impossibles and before Uluwatu.
